Inside the Teenage Brain

Being a teenage I know how hard we can be sometimes, but there are times we make our parents proud. The video we just saw about the Teenage brain shows how we can be immature sometimes, and how we feel we are right all the time. I somewhat agree with my parents suggestions, but there are sometimes I feel they are not understanding me to fulfill my needs. I think this video was resourceful because it unlocked some of the questions I had about my brain. Now I know that my frontal lobe is my decision making part, but it doesn’t really mature until I am in my 20's. That means my parents are sometimes right and that they do what is best for me. Some new things I learned that I am interested in are how important sleeping is to us. Every day I try to sleep at least 9 hours. With so much extracurricular activities, and homework it’s impossible to accomplish it. Every morning I wake up tired because of last night. I was not aware how important sleeping is to us. By sleeping more we make better decisions, we grasp what we studied much better, and we obviously feel more awake. I liked this video, because it showed me some new things that I am going to adapt into my daily routine. I love being a teenager because it’s our last step in being a full grown adult and it’s when our loving parents are slowly letting us go!
